These resources are always free. You do not need to complete the assessment, create an account, or pay to access them.
Before you accept any opportunity
- Verify who is contacting you, who the client is, and how they found you.
- Confirm the location, call time, project expectations, compensation, image usage, and who will be present.
- Do not send fees, deposits, gift cards, or payments simply to be considered for a casting or promised a booking.
- Avoid private-location castings and unverified test shoots with people you have not properly vetted.
- Share the opportunity details and your plans with someone you trust before you arrive.
- Create a check-in and exit plan before attending unfamiliar opportunities.
Boundaries you never have to negotiate
- The right to leave any situation that feels unsafe or no longer matches what was agreed.
- The right to ask about guest, chaperone, closed-set, and safety policies before accepting the opportunity.
- The right to decline when the available safety arrangements do not meet your needs.
- The right to say no to nudity, implied nudity, physical contact, wardrobe, or scenes you did not agree to.
- The right to request written confirmation of the expectations, compensation, usage, wardrobe, and boundaries before the work begins.
If something has already happened
You are not alone, and what happened is not your fault. If immediate safety is at risk, leave the situation and contact local emergency services or a trusted person.
